September Game Night

It was another fun night at the monthly youth game night. So much so, that we are opening game night up to everyone and renaming it Family and Friend Game Night! Hope to see you next month!

Free Prayer Cards

Karen L. has kindly offered to provide wonderful little prayer cards, that are the size of a business card, to for those who would like to have prayers on-hand for teaching purposes. One card has the healing prayer and the other has "Refresh and gladden my spirit". If you are interested in acquiring some cards for your own teaching, please contact Karen.

 

 

 

LSA Breakfast, August 17, 2014

The monthly breakfast at the Indianapolis Baha'i Center, sponsored by the Local Spiritual Assembly, was well-attended again this month! These breakfasts are open to everyone, occur on a Sunday at 9am, and are followed by Sunday devotions at 10:30am. If you are interested in attending a breakfast, please vew the calendar on the webpage to determine the next date. Come and join us!

 

 

 

 

LSA Breakfast a success!

The Indianapolis Local Spiritual Assembly hosted a breakfast on Sunday, July 25th before the weekly devotional. There were approximately 25 people in attendence who enjoyed food and fellowship.

 

Midwest Baha'i Schools in Aug. & Sept.

This summer, there will be no Indiana Baha'i Summer School, due to lack of a suitable venue.  The committee is looking for a good venue for 2015.

Still itching to get out of state and go to a nearby Summer School.  Here are some options:

Green Lake Baha'i Conference - Friday Aug. 22 - Sunday Aug. 24, 2014.  Green Lake Wisconsin.  Check out their website for more information.

“Fools Abuse” by the Green Bean Machines, Music Video World Premiere

On Friday, June 6th, the Near Eastside Junior Youth Group hosted the world premiere of their music video “Fools Abuse” by the Green Bean Machines. Please view the video on YouTube to show your support (they are checking to see how many hits they get)!

The event had a great turnout of families as well as Baha’i and non-Baha’i supporters. The JY also sold handmade bracelets and raised $176 for the local women’s shelter.
